Our mission is to provide a safe environment for youth of all ages and marginalized
communities in the areas of life skills, theatre, community involvement, and
performances. Our vision is to build positive relationships, future leaders, creativity, build
confidence and change lives. For any and everyone.
Vanessa Levon (Edmond) Walker is a native of Columbus, Mississippi. She began writing faith-based plays. Short stories, poetry, skits, and monologues at an early age. Her first play performance was at the age of 16. She performed many performances at Mary Holmes College under the direction of Miss Wilma Jean Brown, drama instructor. Miss Brown's mentorship, care, and Inspiration gave her the courage to purse her dream of becoming an actor, playwright, and director. She gives God glory for all her plays and other work and takes no credit because they are inspired by God. She has an Associate of science, Mary Holmes college, Bachelor of Social Work, University of Mississippi, and a Master of science and Administration of Justice and Security, University of Phoenix. She is married to Michael A. Walker. Sr,. She has a son Michael Walker Jr. married to Brittani, and she has a daughter Ashley Richardson married to Caleb. She has Four grandson, Dayvion and Jayvion Gregory, Kenyon Edmond, and Noah Walker. She is a faithful member of Southside Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Rayfield Evins, Jr.
She is a proud member of delta Sigma Theta Sorority, incorporated for 31 years.
Michael Walker, Sr. is a vital part of walk right production, LLC. He manages the stage, lighting, sound, and musicians in the plays. He also serves as an advisor to the cast & crew. Michael walker has performed in previous plays and assists actors when needed. He plays several instruments: Drums, Keyboard, and Violin. He currently serves as the local Fire Marshall, he is a Prayer Warrior and an Elder

Betty Cunningham, RN, BSN, CIC, is the Manager of Infection Prevention and Improvement at Baptist Memorial Hospital–Golden Triangle in Columbus, Mississippi. With more than four decades of healthcare experience, Betty has served in a variety of nursing, education, employee health, case management, and leadership roles. In her current role, she leads infection prevention and control efforts across the hospital, including surveillance, policy development, regulatory readiness, staff education, outbreak response, and evidence-based practices that support patient and staff safety. Nationally certified in Infection Prevention and Control since 2021, Betty is dedicated to service, mentorship, continuous improvement, and helping others provide safe, high-quality care
Born in Columbus but raised in both Corinth, MS and different small towns in Alabama, Justina
Johnson is proud to be back in the Lowndes County area doing what she loves most- connecting
with the youth.
As a former youth stage performer for Corinth Theatre Arts, Justina understands just how
important it is for every community to have a strong performing arts program. She is also active
with the youth group at Tenth Avenue Church of Christ and the local Girl Scout service troop.
Justina is currently the Director at Main Street Christian School, a preschool in Columbus, MS.
Justina believes it’s never too late to chase a dream and lives by the scripture Philippians 4:13.
